Passenger is the third and final single from the Glitch EP. This is a story of feeling like you’re always in the passenger seat in a relationship, unable to make decisions or move forward. It pleads for another person to make their mind up so that you at least know where you stand in the relationship. It takes influence from big electro pop outfits that you may hear from MGMT and Tame Impala. A combination of 80s sounding synths with organic distorted bass and guitar lines with catchy chorus melodies.

This is the debut EP from HUDSUN following on the success of his 2020 singles. A much more diverse set of tracks, scoping new influences from electro-pop to dark and heavy alternative rock. Each track tells an honest story of day to day struggles and is a personal reflection of difficult events in Sam’s life. Throughout the EP Sam pioneers the full rock band sound of organic drums and guitars but within the setting of synths and noise from an alternative electronic landscape. You can pick out influences from artists including Jack Garret, Tame Impala, Awolnation, witnessing diverse sounds from retro soul and modern alt-pop.
